About Kathabij

Kathabij (कथाबीज) is a small creative gym for screenwriters who write Hindi and Gujarati films and OTT series.

The Problem

Writers don't lack ideas. They lack specificity, a decision, or the nerve to write a bad draft. When stuck, it is tempting to ask a language model to "write the next scene". But language models regress to the mean. They give clichéd characters and translated-sounding dialogue.

Our Core Principle

The writer brings the material, the AI applies pressure.

Kathabij will NEVER write your script, logline, or plot for you. We provide tools that interrogate your choices, critique your dialogue, and provoke you to go somewhere original.

The Tools

• Obvious Detector: Tells you the most predictable ways an idea is usually written, so you can avoid them.
• Dialogue Doctor: Checks if your dialogue sounds like real speech or like translated "Hinglish".
• Character Interrogator: Asks sharp questions to build a character profile entirely from your own answers.
